Plan the project, then buy once
Most extra trips to the hardware store come from one bad number. A wall measured in the wrong place, a box count rounded down, a pattern repeat nobody noticed. Homecalcly is a set of free calculators for the jobs people tackle around the house most often: painting, tiling, flooring, drywall, trim, concrete, fencing, decks, gravel and roofing.
Each tool asks only for measurements you can take with a tape, and it shows its working so you can check the math yourself. Every page also explains the rules of thumb behind the numbers, like why paint coverage on the can is optimistic and why herringbone floors need more waste than straight ones.
All of it runs in your browser. There's no sign-up, and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
Frequently asked questions
Are the Homecalcly calculators free?
Yes. Every calculator is free to use with no account, no limits and no download.
How accurate are the results?
The math is exact for the measurements you enter. The rules of thumb, such as paint coverage or gravel weight, are typical values, so check product labels and add a small margin before you buy.
Do the calculators use feet or meters?
They're built for US measurements in feet and inches. The square footage calculator also shows square meters for products that list metric coverage.
